Signing in with your GitHub identity doesn't require you to provide any password on USE Together.

And this is not the only benefit: if you've subscribed to the eligible plan on GitHub, you can also use the Single Sign-On (SSO) integration and thus use your SSO provider to sign in to USE Together. Please refer to the GitHub documentation.

From the USE Engine app

Sign in to your account on the USE Engine app to start or join screen sharing sessions, make or join calls or just chat.

Open the USE Engine app.
Click on the Sign in with Slack/GitHub link then on the "Sign in with GitHub" button.
Your browser automatically opens, follow the on-screen instructions to authorize USE Together to identify you.
Click on "Open USE Engine.app" (on macOS) or "Open Use-engine-gui.exe" (on Windows), the USE Engine app is shown and signs you in.
If you don't see any prompt, click on the "Launch app" button, it should open the USE Engine app.



From the website

Sign in to your account on the website to manage your subscription.

Head to the sign in page.
Click on the "Sign in with GitHub" button then follow the on-screen instructions to authorize USE Together to identify you.
